AirfieldX – Aerospace & Autonomous Systems

AirfieldX is a Central Queensland initiative advancing aerospace engineering, autonomous aircraft systems, and next-generation flight technologies.


Operating within the Strategic Industries Alliance network, AirfieldX connects engineers, manufacturers, researchers, and industry partners to develop and test aerospace technologies that support both commercial and defence applications.


AirfieldX responds to this opportunity by combining flight testing capability, advanced engineering expertise, and local manufacturing capacity to support aerospace innovation and industry growth.


A Central Queensland Innovation Platform


The initiative provides an environment where engineers, researchers, and manufacturers can collaborate to develop, test, and refine new aerospace technologies.
